Today will be spent at my aunt’s house to prepare for tomorrow’s Thanksgiving meal. Side note: How pretty would those flowers be as a centerpiece?! Before I’m up to my eyeballs in holiday festivities, I wanted to take the time to say what, or rather who, I’m most thankful for.

MY LOVED ONES.
Last week I went through a breakup and was blown away by the amount of support I received from my friends and family. I called Gwenie crying just minutes after it all happened and she met me in the rain at Village Inn where we spent hours stuffing our face with breakfast for dinner and catching up on life. The next night Lindsey came over to help spread holiday cheer throughout the house. We decorated the Christmas tree, dined on wheat thins + a cheese ball + cranberry cider, and watched Home Alone.

Last week I also received messages from several people saying they’d been thinking about me lately—not even knowing what was going on in my life. I’m thankful that God put me on their heart, and for all the prayers I received last week. I’ve been overwhelmed with comfort. Thank you.

A FEW OTHER THINGS TO BE THANKFUL FOR:
Cold weather (finally!) + my new MacBook Pro at work + holiday flavored coffee + TV family nights (Survivor on Wednesday; The Walking Dead on Sunday).
