Last weekend, my aunt, uncle, cousin, and I—along with their dog Cooper—escaped the high-80-degree heat by taking a road trip to Flagstaff to visit my two cousin's and their families. We spent Saturday afternoon at Bearizona, where you can ride around a park and see wild animals like arctic wolves, black bears, bison, big horn sheep, and goats.
After you drive through the park, you can visit the walking area where there's a small zoo of other wild animals, like otters, foxes, porcupines, beavers, badgers, and bear cubs. There's also a Birds of Prey show where owls, falcons and hawks fly over your head. How beautiful is that owl?
The little cousins loved seeing all the animals. & I was thankful to spend a day in the snow with the family.
