I'll be honest, I'm not sure if I didn't like this movie because I was thinking the whole time, "This is so slow, my dad has to be hating this movie." (Which he did.) OR because I was thinking the whole time, "This movie is SO slow, I'm not really into it." I'm typically not a fan of movies that contain 30 seconds of unnecessary pause at the beginning and end of each scene. It's not that I dislike slow movies. It's that some just seem unnecessarily slow to me, as this movie did. Anyway, the film is based on a true story and was one that I hadn't heard before so I didn't know what to expect. Super dark. One positive note: Mark Ruffalo was awesome and Steve Carrel did a great job making you loathe his character in every scene. All in all, not a movie that I would watch again.
